ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ഒന്നാം ടെസ്റ്റിന് ശേഷം ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പിലെ സംഭവങ്ങൾ മുൻ പാകിസ്താൻ താരങ്ങൾ ചർച്ച ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. പാകിസ്താൻ താരങ്ങളുമായി ഇന്ത്യൻ താരങ്ങൾ ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പിൽ ഹസ്തദാനം ചെയ്തില്ലായിരുന്നു. ഇതിനെതിരെ ഒരുപാട് വിവാദങ്ങൾ ഉടലെടുത്തിരുന്നു. ഏഷ്യാ കപ്പ് ഫൈനൽ വിജയത്തിന് ശേഷം എസിസി പ്രസിഡന്റ് മൊഹ്‌സിൻ നഖ്‌വിയിൽ നിന്നും ട്രോഫി വാങ്ങാൻ ഇന്ത്യ തയ്യാറായില്ല. പാകിസ്താൻ ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ബോർഡ് ചെയർമാനും കൂടിയാണ് നഖ്‌വി.
ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കക്കെതിരെയുള്ള ആദ്യ ടെസ്റ്റ് വിജയത്തിന് ശേഷം മുൻ പാകിസ്താൻ താരങ്ങൾ ഇത് കുത്തിപ്പൊക്കിയിരുന്നു. ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്കൻ താരങ്ങൾ ഹസ്തദാനം ചെയ്തത് നല്ല കാര്യമാണെന്നും ഈയിടടെയായി ഇത് അങ്ങനെ കാണാൻ സാധിക്കുന്നതല്ലെന്നും മുൻ പാകിസ്താൻ താരം ആമിർ സുഹൈൽ പറഞ്ഞു.
ക്രിക്കറ്റ് മാന്യൻമാരുടെ കളിയാണെന്നും ഹസ്തദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത് മാന്യതയാണെന്നും ദക്ഷിണാഫ്രിക്ക് വിവേകമുണ്ടെന്നും റമീസ് രാജ പറഞ്ഞു. എന്നാൽ ഇതിനെതിരെ കളിയാക്കുകയാണ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ആരാധകർ.
പാകിസ്താൻ താരങ്ങളോട് ഇങ്ങനെ കരയല്ലെ എന്നാണ് ഇന്ത്യൻ ആരാധകർ പറയുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ കളിക്കാർക്ക് ഹസ്തദാനം നൽകാൻ പാകിസ്താൻ താരങ്ങൾക്ക് കൊതിയാണെന്നും ആരാധകർ കമന്റ് ചെയ്തു.
